Ugg, I have been so neglectful of this group OTL (even though it's so fun and well made!) Thank you, mods, for being so patient with me -In any case here is FINALLY his updated application- changed up his outfit to be more RWBY-ish (I hope...)

Aur(r)ic, in a word, is a grump. Unless he's hanging out with friends or kicking the snot out of whatever Grimm he can find, he's in a bad mood. Apparently he thinks being an angsty, sarcastic idiot is cool. In addition, he really, really hates 'the man'. Or any figure of authority at all. Which makes it awkward being his team's leader. Aur(r)ic usually pretends he isn't. He is, in fact, very good at pretending things he doesn't like don't exist- like weird fuzzy emotions and broccoli. Despite his prickly personality, he is very loyal to his friends and frenemies and believes strongly in teamwork...if he remembers to think about it...}

Background

<sub>Growing up on the bad side of a large Atlantian town, Aur(r)ic learned from a young age to care for himself. His mother and older sister worked as waitresses at a local dive. The father had long left the picture. Back then, the only way a young boy could protect his family was to find support.

For Aur(r)ic, that support came in the form of his first gang. At twelve years old he was initiated into the Bad Eye gang, whom then extended their protection in return for his services. However, in less than two years it became apparent that his unruly personality and uncanny ability with a gun didn't suit the gang dynamic. Indeed, more than a few fellow members had made attempts on his life. 

At that point, Aur(r)ic's mother decided she could no longer bear the corruption of her son. She sought out the headmaster of Sanctum and was able to win a scholarship. At first Aur(r)ic flat out refused. However, Bad Eye gang's current boss threatened a terrible "accident" would happen to his family if he didn't split.

Furious and worried, the young man vowed to return and destroy the gang from the top down. He's now in Pharos training to do just that...
